In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for a part-time Professor of Practice in FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY, with an expertise in one of the following: artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, decentralized finance or central bank digital currencies, at the Assistant, Senior or Principal Professor level (Paris Campus, starting September 2023). He/She/They will be a part of the Department of “Finance”.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of “Finance” consists of over 30 full-time academic staff who is involved in several programs, with many of them including topics related to sustainable finance, green finance or climate finance, for instance the Grande Ecole Program, the MSc in Finance, the MSc in Banking, Capital Markets and Financial Technology, the Apprenticeship program in Financial Institutions: Risk, Compliance, and Data Analytics as well as the Executive Program in Financial Management. The School provides ample resources to support a variety of research interests and activities (Business Source Complete, WRDS, CRSP, Refinitiv Tick History, Refinitiv Workspace, Datastream and Bloomberg among others). ABOUT THE POSITION
Teaching will be the main focus of the selected candidate by teaching courses in finance, part of which with a particular focus on financial technology at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. In addition, he/she/they will contribute to the development of the Department’s programs. As such, we are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills, and who are fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language. Knowledge of French is a plus, but not a requirement.
Professional experience is required in the area of financial technology (notably in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, decentralized finance or central bank digital currencies), as we are particularly looking for candidates who can contribute to the school’s development and its students through their professional experience.
